So, I'm officially a teacher! The first day of school was today and it went great... i really love my profession! It has been a LONG week though- I have put in 12-14 hour days Monday thru Wednesday getting my classroom and stuff ready, and boy am I exhausted.
Shawn and I are heading to Ridgecrest this weekend for an open house so hopefully we will get some much needed rest. If we just lay around for hours upon end, i think i may enjoy it!!!
